Dermal Filler Injections

Dermal fillers can smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Temporary dermal fillers such as Restylane® and the Juvederm® family have been FDA approved for the cosmetic treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and soft tissue depressions. Dermal fillers can also be applied to the lips to restore youthful volume or to simply create better proportion to naturally thin lips. These injectable gels can also be used for the cheek area adding volume to the face creating aesthetically pleasing contours and dimensions. The fillers used at our office are composed mainly of hyaluronic acid, a volume-maintaining substance found naturally in the human body; Restylane® and the Juvederm® Family rarely cause allergic reactions and have little to no downtime. The newer generation of dermal fillers allow for natural expression and animation while the first generation provides structure where needed.
