Endoscopic Brow Lift

Horizontal lines on the forehead, creases above the nose, and heaviness to your brow can make you look tired, sad, angry, or older than you are. Dr. Barttelbort can make your face appear years younger by tastefully tightening and lifting forehead skin to create a more refreshed, youthful look.

THE ENDOSCOPIC BROW LIFT PROCEDURE

During a brow lift procedure, an endoscope, which is a specialized surgical tool with a small video camera attached, is inserted below the skin through a few small incisions in the hairline. Using the images from the scope as his guide, Dr. Barttelbort is able to reduce the muscle bulk between the brows that causes deep furrows and then resuspend the brow. Next, he places the dissolvable Endotine Mini-Forehead™ device and then lifts and tightens the skin. The incision is then carefully closed with sutures. To provide additional enhancement, brow lift is often combined with other facial procedures, including facelift and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty).
